Obama appointed his friend radical Black Nationalist Van Jones as his "Green Jobs Czar". Jones-who was jailed for helping incite the 1992 Rodney King riots in L.A.-- is now attacking Glenn Beck-who continues to out Jones' dark past. Jones who said he was "a rowdy nationalist" prior to his arrest, emerged from prison and said he had become "a communist."

The White House apparently approves and has not raised any challenges or denials saying only that "Jones is not a Czar. He is a special adviser to the president!"

Now Glenn Beck is being attacked by Color of Change--a radical Black Nationalist group co-founded by Van Jones--in retaliation for Beck outing Van Jones' questionable past. Beck aired a segment on Jones on July 28 where he called the activist a "self-professed communist" and questioned the role he was playing in the administration. Jones founded Color of Change after Hurricane Katrina, calling President Bush a "racist" for his response.

Rapper Kanye West made a statement that Bush "hated Black people" and "ordered troops to go down and shoot" Blacks in New Orleans. Jones' group immediately starting selling t-shirt on their website which read "Kanye was right".

Now this same group is trying to shut down Conservative Glenn Beck for exposing the Obama agenda, once again playing the race card.

Color of Change announced that it has secured commitments from 36 companies including Wal-Mart and Sprint not to advertize on Becks show.

Laughably, some of the companies never had a presence on Glenn Beck. DefendGlenn.com has gotten conflicting responses from these advertisers, so we do not know how much they are blowing smoke for the radicals over at Color of Change out of fear of Van Jones, Obama BFF and self-described "black nationalist" and "Communist" who somehow got appointed as "Green Jobs Czar".

Jones a civil rights lawyer is also the founder of California's Ella Baker Center for Human Rights, "a non-profit agency for justice, opportunities and peace." The Ella Baker Center was connected to STORM (Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement), a "multi-racial activist collective with Marxist influences" with which Jones was involved.

In 1992, Van Jones founded another STORM project, Bay Area Police Watch, a "hotline and lawyer-referral service for victims and survivors of police abuse." This is fitting, perhaps, since Jones was himself arrested and detained briefly during a protest after the Rodney King verdict that same year.

This is what I need to be a part of really radical: communists and anarchists Jones told the East Bay Express in 2005: "I met all these young radical people of color - I mean really radical: communists and anarchists. And it was, like,' I spent the next ten years of my life working with a lot of those people I met in jail, trying to be a revolutionary."

Obama like anyone is to be understood by the friends and staff he gets advice from. Obama has transformed his friend Jones from radical activist to Establishment insider. Only an amateur left-wing administration would put a self-described communist in charge of creating jobs.

Norman Thomas, six time Socialist candidate for POTUS, said, "The American people will ... under the name of liberalism... adopt every fragment of the socialist program, The Democratic Party has adopted our socialist platform."

Representatives of Procter & Gamble and AT&T - listed by Color of Change as companies that had signed onto the boycott - told The Times that their companies did not run spots on Beck's program to begin with."

Fox News spokesman said the boycott has not impacted the network's revenues or Beck's audience, The advertisers referenced have all moved their spots from Beck to other programs on the network so there has been no revenue lost.

The uproar started after Prof. Gates and President Obama made fools of themselves over a policeman doing his job. Beck on an appearance on the morning show, "Fox & Friends," simply stated what most conservatives now believe. Beck made and observation about Obama, based on the Gates issue, of having "a deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture." "This guy is, I believe, a racist," Beck added.

The uproar that followed did not dampen Beck's viewership. This month, his show has averaged 2.25 million viewers, and his ratings are up from July, when Beck's program averaged 2.05 million viewers. Supporter's and believer's websites have called for viewers to fight back against the advertising boycott.

After vowing not to become involved in recriminations over the Bush anti-terror policies, President Obama has allowed his Attorney General Eric Holder to appoint a special prosecutor to dig up all the dirt he can find on the CIA and the anti-terror investigators whose aggressive questioning saved us from countless attacks.

Why the switch? Because Obama needs to do something to appease the left that elected him. After refusing to pull out of Iraq and deciding to follow the Bush timetable for withdrawing and staying in Afghanistan and likely having to beef up our presence there, liberals might be wondering why they elected Obama. After all, his opposition to the war in Iraq and his criticism of the Bush anti-terror policies were the hallmarks of his campaign in 2008. And, on the domestic front, Obama likely realizes that he may have to pull in his horns on health care and accept some sort of compromise which may not endear him to his constituency. So he has decided to throw a few CIA interrogators to the wolves.

The report that Holder released to accompany his decision to name a special prosecutor itself showed the trivial nature of the charges against these patriotic anti-terror investigators. Among the allegations prominently featured in the report is that the mastermind of the attack on the USS Cole was scrubbed with a rough brush in the bath so as to cause him pain. Our heartless interrogators also threatened that they could bring in his family and parents for questioning.

How do these "tortures" compare with the deaths of more than a dozen American sailors roasted to death in flames or drowned in the sea?

The CIA report, also released on Monday, demonstrates, within the limits that secrecy allows, how these very interrogations thwarted serious terrorist plots against our country. Would the public agree that if we had bin Laden in custody that it would be wrong to scrub him with a harsh brush? Or to threaten to involve his family? Or to press his carotid artery until he was on the verge of passing out?

If such techniques could have averted the deaths of 3,000 Americans on 9-11, would we not all have sanctioned them? But Obama needs political cover so he is creating a three ring circus for the media by naming a special prosecutor to conduct a likely leaky investigation designed to throw dirt at the CIA.

The exposures he is likely to make will dominate the headlines even as Obama disingenuously retreats from his campaign commitments on Iraq and on foreign policy in general. And, the investigation may even make enough noise to permit a retreat on health care. We hope so.

In 2000, when Al Gore lost his bid to become president of the United States, he had less than US$2-million in assets. Neither was Gore known for his financial acumen -- annual White House disclosures of his and Tipper Gore's joint tax filings showed little income beyond the $175,000 he earned as vice-president.To the contrary, Gore was a laughing stock in investment circles for his lack of financial sophistication, which, the press said, explained why Gore's net worth had been declining during the booming 1990s. Gore had failed to understand the significance of the new Internet economy that had so transformed the world. Instead "most of his money was in checking and passbook accounts or tied up in property," The New York Times reported, in an article entitled "Gore Has Not Bought Stocks for Decades." In an article entitled "Gore flunks investor test," Dow Jones' SmartMoney.Com mocked Gore for being irrationally risk averse, saying, "Al Gore's assets look more like 1899 than 1999. As things stand, the vice-president is without anything with a P/E, let alone an IPO: no stocks, no funds, not even a bond. What does he have? Land -- as far as the eye can see. Oh, and a zinc mine he's leasing out to an Australian mining company." Fortune magazine went so far as to headline a 1998 story, "The Vice President's Financial Acumen 'Ain't Worth a Bucket of Warm Spit'" Its verdict: "This is a family in dire need of a money manager."Nobody doubts Gore's financial acumen now. Within eight years of leaving politics, Gore had reportedly become worth well in excess of US$100-million. Many expect him to become a billionaire through his stakes in a global warming hedge fund, a carbon-offset business, a renewable energy investment business and other global warming related ventures. He is now money manager to institutional investors and the super rich through Generation Investment Management, a firm that he co-founded in 2004.

But how will Al Gore become a billionaire, exactly? What could push him over the edge? Mr. Solomon?


To date, Gore has done well for himself. As for the others, they know not to expect quick profits: Gore is clear in explaining that his focus is on long-term sustainable investments.And as for Gore's prospects of becoming a billionaire, they rest entirely on one big bet: That government legislation will create the mandates that his businesses need to boom. Without those mandates, his businesses -- few of which are viable in a traditional free market economy -- will go bust. As will the funds entrusted to him by the charities, endowments and pension funds seeking sustainable investments.

We've heard over and over again how the oil companies and the like have a heavy financial interest in turning public opinion against climate change. But rarely do we hear that many of the people who dedicate their lives to promoting the Radical Green Agenda have a huge amount of money riding on successfully indoctrinating America and the world.

WRITTEN AND SENT BY AN ACTIVIST - As soon as his cancer was detected, I noticed the immediate attempt at the "canonization" of old Teddy Kennedy by the mainstream media. They are
saying what a "great American" he is. I say, let's get a couple things clear & not twist the facts to change the real history.


1. He was caught cheating at Harvard when he attended it. He was expelled twice, once for cheating on a test, and once for paying a classmate to cheat for him.

2. While expelled, Kennedy enlisted in the Army, but mistakenly signed up for four years instead of two. Oops! The man can't count to four!

His father, Joseph P. Kennedy, former U.S. ambassador to England (a step up from bootlegging liquor into the U.S. from Canada during prohibition),
pulled the necessary strings to have his enlistment shortened to two years, and to ensure that he served in Europe, not Korea , where a war was raging.
No preferential treatment for him! (like he charged that President Bush received).


3. Kennedy was assigned to Paris , never advanced beyond the rank of Private, and returned to Harvard upon being discharged. Imagine a person of

his "education" NEVER advancing past the rank of Private!

4. While attending law school at the University of Virginia , he was cited for reckless driving four times, including once when he was clocked
driving 90 miles per hour in a residential neighborhood with his headlights off after dark. Yet his Virginia driver's license was never revoked.
Coincidentally, he passed the bar exam in 1959. Amazing!


5. In 1964, he was seriously injured in a plane crash, and hospitalized for several months. Test results done by the hospital at the time he was

admitted had shown he was legally intoxicated. The results of those tests remained a "state secret" until in the 1980's when the report was unsealed.
Didn't hear about that from the unbiased media, did we?


6. On July 19, 1969, Kennedy attended a party on Chappaquiddick Island in Massachusetts . At about 11:00 PM, he borrowed his chauffeur's keys to his

Oldsmobile, and offered to give a ride home to Mary Jo Kopechne, a campaign worker. Leaving the island via an unlit bridge with no guard rail,
Kennedy steered the car off the bridge, flipped, and into Poucha Pond.


7. He swam to shore and walked back to the party, passing several houses and a fire station. Two friends then returned with him to the scene of the accident.

According to their later testimony, they told him what he already knew - that he was required by law to immediately report the accident to the authorities.
Instead Kennedy made his way to his hotel, called his lawyer, and went to sleep. Kennedy called the police the next morning and by then the wreck had
already been discovered. Before dying, Kopechne had scratched at the upholstered floor above her head in the upside-down car. The Kennedy family
began "calling in favors", ensuring that any inquiry would be contained. Her corpse was whisked out-of-state to her family, before an autopsy could be conducted.
Further details are uncertain, but after the accident Kennedy says he repeatedly dove under the water trying to rescue Kopechne and he didn't call police
because he was in a state of shock. It is widely assumed Kennedy was drunk, and he held off calling police in hopes that his family could fix the problem overnight.
Since the accident, Kennedy's "political enemies" have referred to him as the distinguished Senator from Chappaquiddick. He plead guilty to leaving the
scene of an accident, and was given a SUSPENDED SENTENCE OF TWO MONTHS. Kopechne's family received a small payout from the Kennedy's insurance policy,
and never sued. There was later an effort to have her body exhumed and autopsied, but her family successfully fought against this in court, and Kennedy's family
paid their attorney's bills... a "token of friendship"?


8. Kennedy has held his Senate seat for more than forty years, but considering his longevity, his accomplishments seem scant. He authored or argued for

legislation that ensured a variety of civil rights, increased the minimum wage in 1981, made access to health care easier for the indigent, and funded
Meals on Wheels for fixed-income seniors and is widely held as the standard-bearer for liberalism". In his very first Senate roll, he was the floor manager
for the bill that turned U.S. immigration policy upside down and opened the floodgate for immigrants from third world countries..


9. Since that time, he has been the prime instigator and author of every expansion of an increase in immigration, up to and including the latest attempt to

grant amnesty to illegal aliens. Not to mention the pious grilling he gave the last two Supreme Court nominees, as if he was the standard bearer for the
nation in matters of "what's right". What a pompous ass!


10. He is known around Washington as a public drunk, loud, boisterous and very disrespectful to ladies. JERK is a better description than "great American".

"A blonde in every pond" is his motto.

MORE ABOUT TED KENNEDY'S DEADLY LEGACY FOR AMERICA

Teddy Kennedy died yesterday, but his legacy grows more deadly for future Americans.

Instead of a rich legacy bequeathed upon the United States by forever U.S. Senator Teddy Kennedy, the oft-intoxicated, blubbery fourth brother of the Kennedy clan-four decades ago--drunkenly drove over a bridge that caused the death of Mary Jo Kopechne and lied about what happened.

But his worst and most destructive legacy for the United States stems from his authorship of the 1965 "Immigration Reform Act" that added the bulk of our additional 100 million people into America within 40 years. It jumped legal immigration from 170,000 annually to 1.1 million annually. Added to that disastrous environmental legacy, his actions provoked a complete ethnic change of our stable society into a fractured civilization. How? He provided for entrance of immigrants from cultures totally incompatible with U.S. culture. He downgraded citizenship by not enforcing our laws or maintaining educational standards.


"We are the only country in history that deliberately changed its ethnic makeup, and history has few examples of 'diversity' creating a stable society." Governor Richard D. Lamm

As those immigrants poured into this country, he facilitated and languished as millions of illegal aliens marched across our borders to wreak havoc on our schools, communities, jobs, hospitals, language and prisons. Over 20,000 members of MS-13 gangs distribute $130 billion in drugs yearly. We pay for 400,000 babies born to illegal alien mothers annually. We suffer 28 million Americans on food stamps because illegals downgrade wages and take jobs from our working poor.

Kennedy single handedly planted the seeds for the destruction of our country per the words of President Teddy Roosevelt,

"The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, or preventing all possibility of its continuing as a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities."

How did Kennedy answer that crisis of unrelenting illegal border crossing? He proposed, wrote and encouraged Ronald Reagan to sign the 1986 Immigration Amnesty that allowed what he said were only 1.3 million illegals. The true number of illegal aliens that gained instant citizenship became 4.3 million.

Later, Reagan said signing that amnesty was the worst mistake of his presidency.

In June, 2007, as another 20 million illegal aliens broke over U.S. borders since 1986, Kennedy tried to give another amnesty by forcing S.B. 1639 into law with his bluster and pompous bellowing. He voted to double legal immigration to 2.2 million annually! Kennedy remains responsible for our $346 billion annual costs paying for illegal aliens!

In Dr. Otis Graham's "Unguarded Gates: A History of America's Immigration Crisis", he writes, "Most Western elites continue urging the wealthy West not to stem the migrant tide, but to absorb our global brothers and sisters until their horrid ordeal has been endured and shared by all--ten billion humans packed onto an ecologically devastated planet."

Kennedy voted for the fraudulent Iraq War that killed 4,000 American soldiers and wounded 31,000 to date. He's voted against making English our national language which ensures further Balkanization of our nation via linguistic chaos. When a nation cannot speak to itself, it becomes fractured and separated.

While he battled with brain cancer, we battle for our nation's life. While he sails his boat around Martha's Vineyard, we pick up millions of pieces of trash on our borders from invading illegal alien hordes that he encouraged. While he tipped yet another glass of wine, we struggle to maintain our schools, communities, hospitals and prisons from this illegal invasion. While he sat on his barnyard wide rear-end for 40 years in the Senate creating the problems that now destroy our nation, we watched the American Dream turn into a nightmare.

Contrary to the editors of the Denver Post, Ted Kennedy may be likened to Nero of Rome who fiddled while it burned. Kennedy drank while we fought for our nation's survival. Kennedy ate at the finest tables while we struggled with his voting for H-1B and H-2B visas that displaced millions of American workers. Kennedy sailed his boat while our nation sank into consequences of a dysfunctional and unsustainable nation.

Because of Kennedy, our successful culture finds itself turning into a foreign culture that failed, i.e., Mexico. The March PEW report shows Mexicans in America becoming the new dominate majority by 2050 at 53 percent.

In other words, rather than serving America and our future, Senator Ted Kennedy destroyed our America just as quickly as he took Mary Jo Kopechne's life on a drunken night somewhere back in the 60s. As she fought for her life in that car as the waters rose above her, he escaped.

While we struggle nostril-deep in the nightmare waters of immigration swirling around us, we may well drown, too!

The babies born in hospital corridors: Bed shortage forces 4,000 mothers to give birth in lifts, offices and hospital toilets

Maternity crisis: Women are giving birth in lifts and even toilets .

Thousands of women are having to give birth outside maternity wards because of a lack of midwives and hospital beds.

The lives of mothers and babies are being put at risk as births in locations ranging from lifts to toilets - even a caravan - went up 15 per cent last year to almost 4,000.

Health chiefs admit a lack of maternity beds is partly to blame for the crisis, with hundreds of women in labour being turned away from hospitals because they are full.

Latest figures show that over the past two years there were at least:

63 births in ambulances and 608 in transit to hospitals;

117 births in A&E departments, four in minor injury units and two in medical assessment areas;

115 births on other hospital wards and 36 in other unspecified areas including corridors;

399 in parts of maternity units other than labour beds, including postnatal and antenatal wards and reception areas.

Additionally, overstretched maternity units shut their doors to any more women in labour on 553 occasions last year.

Babies were born in offices, lifts, toilets and a caravan, according to the Freedom of Information data for 2007 and 2008 from 117 out of 147 trusts which provide maternity services.

One woman gave birth in a lift while being transferred to a labour ward from A&E while another gave birth in a corridor, said East Cheshire NHS Trust.

Others said women had to give birth on the wards - rather than in their own maternity room - because the delivery suites were full.

Tory health spokesman Andrew Lansley, who obtained the figures, said Labour had cut maternity beds by 2,340, or 22 per cent, since 1997. At the same time birth rates have been rising sharply - up 20 per cent in some areas.

Mr Lansley said: 'New mothers should not be being put through the trauma of having to give birth in such inappropriate places.

'While some will be unavoidable emergencies, it is extremely distressing for them and their families to be denied a labour bed because their maternity unit is full.

'It shows the incredible waste that has taken place that mothers are getting this sort of sub-standard treatment despite Gordon Brown's tripling of spending on the NHS.

'Labour have let down mothers by cutting the number of maternity beds and by shutting down maternity units.'

The NHS employs the equivalent of around 25,000 full-time midwives in England, but the Government has promised to recruit 3,400 more.

However, the Royal College of Midwives estimates at least 5,000 more are needed to provide the quality of service pledged in the Government's blueprint for maternity services, Maternity Matters.

At the same time almost half of all midwives are set to retire in the next decade.

Jon Skewes, a director at the Royal College of Midwives, said: 'The rise in the number of births in other than a designated labour bed is a concern. We would want to see the detail behind these figures to look at why this is happening.

'There is no doubt that maternity services are stretched, and that midwives are working harder and harder to provide good quality care. However, we know the Government is putting more money into the service.

'The key now is to make sure this money is spent by the people controlling the purse strings at a local level.'

Care services minister Phil Hope said: 'The number of maternity beds in the NHS reflects the number of women wanting to give birth in hospital. Giving birth can be unpredictableand it is difficult to plan for the exact time and place of every birth.

'Local health services have plans to ensure high quality, personal care with greater choice over place of birth and care provided by a named midwife.

'We recognise that some parts of the country face particular challenges due to the rising birth rate and that is why last year we pledged to increase funding for maternity by £330million over three years.

'We now have more maternity staff than ever before and we have already met our target to recruit 1,000 extra midwives by September.'

Case study: I gave birth in a car

Pregnant Linda Corbett, 33, was turned away from one hospital and gave birth in a car as she dashed to another.
Her husband Chris, 39, delivered their daughter Iona in the back seat while her father raced to the hospital at 70mph.
'I was really scared but I had to hold it together as I was the only one who knew the way to the hospital,' she said.

'The baby was born just as we entered the car park.' Mrs Corbett, pictured, was due to give birth at her Brighton home in June last year but when she phoned the Royal Sussex County Hospital after her contractions started she was told the maternity unit was too busy to send a midwife to her.
When she phoned back later, she was told the unit was full and she would have to go to another hospital. Fifteen minutes later she gave birth.
She said: 'We had such a happy ending but it could have been a disaster.'

Obama Increases 2010 Deficit Forecast 19% to $1.50 Trillion

Aug. 25 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. unemployment will surge to 10 percent this year and the budget deficit will widen to $1.5 trillion next year, reflecting a “deeper recession” than previously expected, White House budget chief Peter Orszag said.
The Office of Management and Budget also forecasts that the U.S. economy will shrink 2.8 percent this year, worse than the 1.2 percent contraction the OMB projected in May. For next year, the budget office said the gross domestic product will grow 2.0 percent, less than the 3.2 percent expected in May. By 2011, the economy would be well on its way to recovery, growing at a 3.8 percent annual rate, according to the administration’s mid-year economic review, released this morning.
The budget shortfall for 2010 will mark the second straight year of trillion-dollar deficits. The projected deficit for the fiscal year that begins Oct. 1 is higher than the $1.26 trillion forecast in May and reflects expectations economic growth will be slower this year and next because of “the severity of the crisis in the U.S. and in our trading partners,” said Christina Romer, White House chief economist, who along with Orszag briefed reporters on the report.
The deficit and unemployment numbers may weigh down President Barack Obama’s drive for his top domestic priority, overhauling the U.S. health care system.
‘Bad, Bad Shape’
“It throws a wrench in health-care reforms,” Maya MacGuineas, president of the bipartisan Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, said in an interview before the report was released. “No matter the specific numbers, they’re a constant reminder that we’re in bad, bad shape.”
The Congressional Budget Office is scheduled to issue its budget forecast later this morning.
