Twelve Americans are murdered every day by illegal aliens, according to 2006 statistics released by Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa. If those numbers are correct, it translates to 4,380 Americans murdered annually by illegal aliens – more than the U.S. death toll of soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan combined. That's more than 30,000 Americans killed by illegal aliens since Sept. 11, 2001.

Studies have found that illegal immigration causes substantial human costs to American citizens and legal immigrants. Those that are particularly vulnerable are children, women and minorities. According to the 2006 House Committee on Homeland Security Border Report, every year an estimated 4,300 American citizens lose their lives by an illegal immigrant. Several thousands of senseless deaths could have been prevented if our federal, state and local law enforcement would enforce our immigration laws and secure the border. The Violent Crimes Institute estimated that there are 240,000 illegal immigrant sex offenders in the United States, which averages about four victims each. There are many victims that our Congress has failed to protect and accepts as collateral damage. Substantiating the human cost, the Department of Homeland Security estimates that illegal immigrants molest more than 2,900 children. How many more thousands of children will be victimized until we speak up for them? For fair and open debate on the impact of illegal immigration, we cannot ignore the human costs to American citizens or accept it as collateral damage. It is time for our U.S. Reps. to listen to their constituents to secure the border and to NOT give anyone that is here illegally ANY TYPE OF AMNESTY.

New data from the Department of Public Social Services indicates that nearly twenty five percent of Los Angeles County 's welfare and food stamp benefits are going directly to the children of illegal aliens, and it is costing the L.A. County taxpayers $36 million a month.

When Los Angeles Mayor, Antonio Villaraigosa, gave his “State of the City” address he announced cutbacks in services, a reduction of city workers and yet another increase in the trash collection fees, but he never said anything about possibly reducing the number of illegal aliens on the welfare rolls despite the shortage of revenue. In fact the mayor fired off a letter to the Department of Homeland Security blasting them for having the audacity to enforce this nation's immigration laws inside of his county.

Just released from Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich

New statistics from the Department of Public Social Services reveal that illegal aliens and their families in Los Angeles County collected nearly $37 million in welfare and food stamp allocations, announced Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich.

In August, illegals collected over $19 million in welfare assistance and over $17 million in monthly food stamp allocations, for a projected annual cost of $432 million . Nearly twenty five percent of all welfare and food stamps benefits is going directly to the children of illegal aliens.

“Illegal immigration continues to have a devastating impact on Los Angeles County taxpayers,” said Antonovich. “Annually, the cost of illegal immigration to Los Angeles County taxpayers exceeds one billion dollars, which includes $220 million for public safety, $400 million for healthcare, and $432 million in welfare allocations. This does not include millions of dollars for education.”

New statistics from the Department of Public Social Services reveal that illegal aliens and their families in Los Angeles County collected over $37 million in welfare and food stamp allocations in November 2007 – up $3 million dollars from September, announced Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich.

Twenty five percent of the all welfare and food stamps benefits is going directly to the children of illegal aliens. Illegals collected over $20 million in welfare assistance for November 2007 and over $16 million in monthly food stamp allocations for a projected annual cost of $444 million.

“This new information shows an alarming increase in the devastating impact Illegal immigration continues to have on Los Angeles County taxpayers ,” said Antonovich. “With $220 million for public safety, $400 million for healthcare, and $444 million in welfare allocations, the total cost for illegal immigrants to County taxpayers far exceeds $ 1 billion a year – not including the millions of dollars for education.”

Illegal Alien Jail Costs

According to the LAPD 's website, there have been 9,119 violent crimes so far this year ( 2008 ), including 148 murders , and 597 shootings . And it's not even June yet.

One of the murder victims, as you know, was Jamiel Shaw, II. When I heard what happened to him, I drafted Jamiel's Law. By contrast, when City Council Member Bernard Parks heard about it, he walked out of the Council Chambers to avoid having to look at or listen to the Shaw family while they pleaded their case for Jamiel's Law.

Villaraigosa, Parks, Zine, Hahn, Reyes, Smith, Garcetti, Weiss, Grueul, LaBonge, Cardenas, Alarcon, Wesson, Perry, Rosendahl and Huizar are worse than an embarrassment to our City. They are costing us lives by failing to prevent murders that are entirely preventable. They are ruining our quality of life.

The data indicated that illegal immigrants, overall, were not a greater crime risk, according to the study, which looked at all inmates released from Los Angeles County Jail for a month in 2002.

But among those who previously had been deported, reentered the U.S. and were arrested and released from jail, nearly 75% went on to commit another crime within a year. And 28% were arrested three or more times during the one-year period.

She said that an illegal alien woman - who will be testifying - called police when she was being physically abused by her husband and the police arrested her because she is an illegal alien.

President Obama greeted the king of Saudi Arabia with a full bow from the waist yesterday, a move one commentator described as a violation of protocol and not worthy of the office he holds.

"I am quite certain that this is not the protocol, and is most unbecoming a president of the United States," writes Clarice Feldman in an American Thinker commentary.

The situation developed as leaders of the world attending the G20 summit in London assembled for a photograph to mark the event.

Video by a television crew was posted on YouTube. The bow comes at about 50 seconds into the video:

The action appeared especially awkward since among the dozens of world leaders and their spouses, handshakes abounded, but there appeared to be no other bowing in the room.

The U.S. State Department's office of protocol did not respond to a WND request for the proper etiquette for two heads of state meeting, but the online Travel Etiquette website for Saudi Arabia said handshakes are common greetings between members of the same sex.
