May 26th in front of Congressman Waxman's office...you know, the guy who
made this Cap & Trade bill possible! If you are anywhere in the LA, Ventura,
or OC region you need to come out and make this protest HUGE! We expect lots

"The Cap & Trade (ACES) Act has been referred to eight committees; these are
the targets we need to focus on right now. Our research indicates that
Waxman doesn¹t have enough votes to pass HR 2454 on the floor so it has been
moved into these committees.
Why is this bill being put back into committees? Could it be there are
SWEETHEART DEALS being cooked up to get this passed?
The quickest, most effective thing we can do is get to the Committees
themselves. Tell the committees NO MORE government limits on our rights!

MARY BONO MACK NEEDS OUR SPECIAL ATTENTION!!
The Palm Springs Tea Party organizers have brought it to our attention that
Republican Congresswoman, Mary Bono Mack, who sits on the House Committee on
Energy and Commerce, was the only Republican to vote YES to release H.R.
2454 from committee so that it can be brought to the floor for a full vote.
The fact that it has been moved BACK to committee does not change the fact
that she CLEARLY THINKS THIS LEGISLATION IS LEGITIMATE enough to see the
light of day.
Time to shut down her phone and email lines with a flood of taxpayer
responses to these actions!
